Great body, not much up top…
Now this bit is where old Rusty starts to look like a real car, just like when Pinocchio’s wish is granted and he becomes a ‘real boy’. The line of the car is very good considering its mostly new under-body panels!
There are however a couple of set-backs. The roof I have is shocking; it looks more like an aerial shot of the Grand Canyon than what a roof should look like. Also the doors hindered our progress lining everything up, as the door skins were fitted by Stevie Wonder, apparently the same day he painted Peter Brambles car…
We have decided to go in search of a new roof, so if you know of a good one please let me know!
Hopefully we are progressing at sufficient pace to be at the first race of the season at Donington(?). That will most probably be decided by funds though!!
